I am so happy you are here.

My name is Mckenze, I am the owner of The Wax Room, licensed esthetician, certified laser technician, wife and mom of two beautiful children.

I fell in love with the beauty industry at a young age. I loved makeup and still do. I grew up dancing and performing so I think that had a lot to do with it. The beauty industry was calling my name but little did I know what it had in store for me. Waxing... not makeup. With 10 years of full body waxing expertise, my passion for waxing is beyond the physical or technical skill, it's the education I can provide and human connections I value most.

Where it all started

I opened The Wax Room in March 2019. I operated out of a single salon suite 5 days a week, by myself. I documented my journey on Instagram in between educating our audience about the benefits of waxing. After a year and a half, I was longing to give more women a positive body waxing experience and the camaraderie a team provides. The idea to expand the business and build a team of amazing women with a similar mission, came to fruition. In November 2021, we opened our beautiful storefront location here is Surprise, Az.
